Artistic-research residency at ZHdK (2025) with artists from Arab, Jewish and European backgrounds — improvisation, expanded listening and critical reflection on identity and sonic hospitality.
Four commissioned works for improvisers — by Jürg Frey, Lucas Niggli, Jacques Demierre and Helga Arias — written for Slide Ensemble's line-up (two saxophones, drums, viola, viola with electronics). Central question: what does it mean to compose for improvisers? Artistic direction: Diego Kohn. Touring Zürich, Bern, Biel, Luzern, Basel and Lausanne.
